L’Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision, Brown : Review
Written by: Swati on:
You know when you go to a brand counter and buy stuff worth so and so, and there is an offer where you end up getting something free...yeah those offers are quite nice aren't they? So, the L'Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision in Brown got added to my stash a long time back that way. I came back happily...stacked it in my stash happily....and well, happily forgot about it too. *tch*
Now that summers are here in Bangalore and the hot weather is not in any mood to change, I wanted a liner that gave a softer look than the traditional black. I was looking around and this one shined out to me (good thing that...coz I would have ended up buying a new liner).
So, the liquid liner comes in a sleek gold tube with a long handle and a sponge- felt tip. The consistency is quite watery which I don't like much. I have to layer it twice to ge the desired pigmentation and it is not waterproof On the plus side, the felt tip is just the right amount of stiff and flexible (if that makes any sense) & it quite easy to apply the liner. The product dries quickly once applied.
Brown is a deep chocolate color, which would show up well on light-medium skin tones. It gives a more natural and softer look compared to the jet black liquid liners, which can end up looking quite sharp.
Overall, it is an average liner. I had higher expectations from L'Oreal. The pigmentation isn't that great, it is not waterproof and the consistency is a bit too watery for my liking. The felt tip helps in making the application of the liquid liner easier though. I think you can find better liners out there if you are on the lookout. You can skip this one.
Do you like using brown liners or black? Have you treid this one out? Any suggestions for a better brown liner?
