Anatomicals Face Masks : First Impressions
Written by: Swati on:
Guuurrrllll, you know I love me a good face mask! It's a perfect way to give your skin that extra TLC and makes an essential part of my feel good pamper routine. I try and use a face mask at least once a week, and usually I stick to the homemade/organic ones. But a look at these cuties by Anatomicals is enough to tempt anyone!
I got 2 of these as a part of my birthday gift hamper (my friend has quite a quirky side, so no doubt that the names had a certain appeal :P) And then I went ahead and got me 1 more. Anyway, I thought I'd should do a first impressions post of all the 3 together. Read on!
The small satches are a great way to sample new masks without having to shell out too much and regretting later. Each mask is packed in a fun colored satchet. Let's take a moment to appreciate the super adorable names! You can easily get 2 applications from each and these would be great to throw in your travel bag as well!
1) Farewell the scarlet Pimplehell Deep Cleansing Mud Mask:
This isn't as thick in consistency as I had expected. Normally mud masks are quite thick you know, this has a creamy feel to it and it is green...(Hulk Face! Oh Yeah!) I left it for around 20 minutes. It is a good mask when you need that deep clean and get all that gunk out of your pores. It also reduced the size of my pores a bit, but that was a temporary effect. I love mud/clay masks in general. They are perfect for my combination-oily skin and it's no surprise that I quite liked this one as well. It gets it's job done!
2) The Hottie Tottie is Never Spotty Anti-Blemish Face Mask:
I had a bad bout of breakouts a few months back and this one sounded like a good too one for my skin condition. It combines Tea Tree Oil with soothing Sage Oil and antioxidant rich Evening primrose Oil to help calm the skin and attack all those acne causing bacteria. The consistency of this one is like a proper white cream. It also has a very strong floral fragrance and gives a cooling tingling sensation. It left my skin looking quite clean. It is nice overall, but did not work as well for me as the previous one.
3) Look, You've Got Chocolate All Over Your Face Anti-Stress Face Mask:
Stress and Chocolate are always good match. Though, I rather gorge on some chocolates when I am stressed. Anyway, I would prefer using this one only when I need some super pampering. The mask smells very strongly of chocoate. This one is great when your skin is feeling a bit dry and needs that extra hydration and it leaves the skin feeling quite soft.
Price : 175 INR for 15 ml
Overall, it was quite fun to try out these masks. I think I would be stocking up on the Deep Cleansing Mud Mask! :)
Have you been tempted yet to try any of the masks from Anatomicals? Let me know in the comments below.
