Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara : Review

When it comes to mascaras, I generally tend to like the Maybelline ones.
My first mascara was the Hypercurl one, I quickly upgraded to Colossal and when I tried out the Falsies...well, that was love! No matter which mascara I am testing/trying, I will always have a tube of Falsies in my stash!
Even the Falsies Big Eyes was a good one, especially with a smaller wand for the lower lashes.
Unfortunately though, I did not like the Magnum Barbie one that much and went back to my trusted Falsies.
But when they came out with the Falsies Push Up Drama, I was super hopeful, afterall, it was from the Falsies family...!
The packaging is fantastic. Look at the colored metallic red and pink. I really like how the tube looks. Unfortunately, that is all I like about this one!
The formula is a medium consistency one which is fine by me. It has a rubber wand with short rubber braces (cup shaped bristles is what the packaging says).
And while the whole Indian blogging community is going ga-ga over the mascara, it somehow never works for me.
I think it is the wand and the bristles which are the root of the problem here.
On my lashes, this mascara CLUMPS. There, I said it. No pushing anything, but major major clumping. I even tired removing the excess on a tissue before application, which reduced the clumping, but it still clumped up...which is not the look I go for ever!
See the wand and bristles of the Falsies below, those work far better I think, as far as my lashes go.

I really wanted this one to work for me, but sadly it didn't. I read a lot of other international blogs later who also faced the same isssue. I am still wondering about the hype about this one among Indian bloggers. In case this works for you do let me know. Do you have any tips/tricks to use it?
