My Top 10 Summer Lipsticks!

Hello lovelies!
I am so happy that you all liked the posts in the Summer Series! Nothing makes us happier than reading your appreciative messages. Many of you requested this post, so here it is.
Intially I wanted to keep it at 5, but well, there is never such thing as too many lipsticks, is there? So here are my top 10 summer lip colors! Happy Reading!
When summer comes around there are 3 color families I drift towards - Pinks, Coral/Orange and Nudes.
Of course I miss wearing plums and reds, and occasionally I do, but they usually take a back seat. So here are my top picks, in no particluar order. I have divided them into color families though so that it is easy :)
(A) Corals/Oranges :
1. MAC See Sheer
This one has been getting such a lot of love lately (I am sure you have seen it featured in my favourites posts and summer makeup post). It is a lusture lipstick, which means, even though the pigmentation is low, it gives a gorgeous shine when worn and never dries out the lips.
A lovely muted coral. Perfect for everyday!
2. Bourjois Shine Edition 123 Soleil
A coral with orange tones. I like how it gives a orange lip without being too in-your-face oraange...you know what I mean? It is bright, but still very wearable. And if you want to dip your feet into the orange lip family, this one would be great to start out with. This one too gives a juicy high shine finish (which I love in the summers). * Another good (more affordable) option is Maybelline Color Show in Orange Icon...swatched here. It is a bit more bright orange, still quite wearable.
(B) Pinks
3. NYX Matte Lipstick in Tea Rose
A cool toned mauvey pink, will suit light-medium skin tones. Again a very everyday wearable color. Not too bright, but still adds a lovely color to the face.
(L'Oreal Tender Berry is quite similar)
4. MAC Syrup
Again a lusture finish (which I think is my favourite ones from MAC). It a neutral dusky pink with mauve undertones. And this is the color I have been reaching out non stop for over a week. It the kind of color when you don't really want to wear a color, but still want a little something something..you know :D
A very similar (and more affordable) one is Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Honey (reviewed here), which is again an all time favourite.
5. Maybelline Reb 02
Of course summer also means color. So I have this one to add a bright pop of color when in the mood. A bright pink which brightens up the face everytime. Reviewed and swatched here.
6. Revlon Berry Smoothie
I love the Revlon Lip Butters! Especially this one. A soft berry pink, it is sheer, but looks so so lovely when worn! Reviewed and swatched here.
It melts like crazy in the heat though, so just be a bit careful (I managed to ruin mine while swatching today!).
7. MUA Power Pout in Broken Hearted
The power pouts were a gem to find! They give such a luscious juicy finish and leave a beautiful stain behind. Broken Hearted is a bright raspberry toned pink wihich looks so yum when worn...yes yum! Full review and lip swatches here.
(C) Nudes
8. Lakme 9to5 Lip and Cheek Tint in Coffee Lite
I have no idea why I have not reviewed this yet, considering I absolutely love it. It is a muddy brown with pink undertones to it. Very wearable and kind of a no brainer since it goes with everything.
The formula can be a bit drying though, so prep ideally before.
9. Burberry Kisses Sheer Nude No 221
This is a recent addition in the stash (well, strictly speaking, it is Smriti's but I haven't given it to her yet..oops!). I got it from Divya's Blog Sale. She writes at The Conscience Fund (you must check out her blog for some amazing recommendations!)
It is sheer, gives a lovely shine when worn. The color is a super neutral light brown. It doesn't look like anything special in the bullet, but looks so chic when worn.
10. Maybelline Lip Gradation in Mauve
How I rushed to the counter to get this one when it was finally launched in India :D
A nude brown with a slight mauve undertone, again a no brainer as it pretty much goes with everything. It looks more brown here, but comes out a bit different on the lips. Full review and swatches here.
