Nykaa Haul! (With First Impressions)

Written by: Swati on:

Hello all!

It has been a while since I did a haul post here (the last one is shared here), and I have been a bit on a shopping spree lately (don't make me feel guilty okay), so I thought to quickly share my thoughts about the things I got. Take a look at what I picked!

Nykaa Haul

Skincare

As you might be aware, I have been concentrating a lot (a lot a lot) on skincare. Naturally a large chunck of this haul is made up on skincare prodcuts with a few makeup bits and bobs.

Plum Green Tea Face Mask review

1) Plum Green Tea Face Mask

Smriti has already reviewed this one in depth earlier, so you get all the information here. It works decently for my skin. I wouldn't say it is the best mask I have ever tried though. It makes my skin feel clean and fresh (which most face masks do anyway) but it did not "wow" me. It works really well on Smriti though! I guess it just depends on the skin type.

Forest Essentials Tejasvi Emulsion review

2) Forest Essentials Tejasvi Emulsion

Now, I have used this only a couple of times till now, but man girl this is good!
I haven't left it overnight yet, just for a few hours and then I wash it off. But it makes the skin so soft and nourished. I cant wait to test this one out more!

The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Gel review

3) The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Gel

I wanted to get the tube, but it was sold out (typical!) so I had to settle in for the tub (which is honestly very cubersome to use). The product itself is lovely. One of the best aloe gels out there I reckon. Smriti loves this one and I can see why. It hydrates so well and yet feels so light. Perfect for the summer! Use it on your face and body!

Nykaa Turmeric & Lemon Essential Oil review

4) Nykaa Turmeric & Lemon Essential Oil

I got these especially to mix in with the aloe gel. Smart eh?! Lemon and Turmeric have natural brightening and antibacterial properties. I just take a couple of drops, mix it with aloe gel and slather it on my arms, legs (sometimes underarms too!). Also helps to keep that summer tan in check...bonus!

Neutrogena Hand Cream review

5) Neutrogena Hand Cream

Hands down one of the best hand creams...ever! And I have tried quite a few. It is afforable, nourishes well and keeps hands hydrated for the longest time. It can also be used on any other dry areas. Full review here. Available here.

Dr Sheth's review

6) A bunch of Dr Sheth's

Clearly I went a bit overboard here! It started out with their Youth Glotion (which I had been using for a couple of months an it was working decently). Naturally I got curious to try out the other products too. I got my hands on their Indoor Protection Mist, Extra Gentle Daily Peel, Baisc Brightening Sunscreen and Ultimate Brightening Youth Enchancer.
Yeah, the term "brightening" does it for me!  So far these are okay and I need more time to test them out. Will update soon!

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment review

7) Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment

One of the most raved and loved eye creams out there and it had been on my wishlist for years. It feels luxurious and is super hydrating. I am using it at night currently although, it works really well under makeup too. Available here

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair review

8) Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

I finally gave in and bought it!! (after testing out a small tiny bottle) and my skin thanks me everyday for getting it. I finally understand the whole hype about it. It is one of the best serums out there. I saw a visible difference in my skin in 3-4 days. Clearly, one paragraph will not do it justice so look out for a rave review soon!

Makeup

1) Maybelline Falsies Mascara

It is my most loved mascara. I generally love Maybelline mascaras anyway, except a few, but if I had to pick one...if I had to have only 1 mascara in my stash, it will be this one. It gives length and volume and beautiful dramatic lashes...love! Full review here.

MAC Fix+ Prep and Prime review

2) MAC Fix+ Prep and Prime

I got a small bottle of this to try out. I remember trying it way back (maybe 7-8 years or so) and I did not like it too much then. My skin was super oily then which may be one of reasons I didn't quite like it. My skin has changed since then and it works well now. Takes away any signs of excess powder and cakiness. Available here.

TheBalm Batter Up Eyeshadow Sticks review

3) TheBalm Batter Up Eyeshadow Sticks

These were on sale on Nykaa and I was dying to give eyeshadow sticks a try anyway..so there! I had swatched the Colorbar shadow sticks, but never quite liked them which is why I was apprehensive to get these too. But my oh my...these are just gorgeous! Lovely colors which can be sheered out and worn everyday or built up for occasions. And these don't budge once set! They don't!

Estee Lauder Genuine Glow Reviving Oil Lip Tint review

4) Estee Lauder Genuine Glow Reviving Oil Lip Tint

My lips were going through a very bad phase a while back and I had stopped wearing tinted balms and lipsticks completely. One of my most loved lip products then was the Clarins Lip Oil. I came across this one and thought this would be quite similar and would give a tint as well.
Honestly, this one isn't as great or nourishing as the Clarins one. I do love the natural pink tint it gives, but I wish it was more hydrating. It was a splurge and I am not too thrilled about it...yet.

Nykaa Haul

So that's my haul! Which products have you used and liked from here in the past?
