Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Liner, Beige Pink : Review
Written by: Swati on:
In my last post, you heard me rave about the Lakme 9-to-5 lip liners and I shared a super gorgeous shade called Brick Rose. Now, these pencils were so good, that I had to pick up 2 and the other shade I got was Beige Pink.
I am not going to describe everything again.. it'll just be a waste of time, so head over here to know all about the texture, pigmentation, lasting power etc etc. I would say this though, the coloured ends...well, not very helpful in differentiating between these two shades. See what I mean?
I hope you can make out the differences between Brick Rose and Beige Pink in the photos below:
While Brick Rose was more of a warm peachy brown (gorgeous colour!), Beige Pink is much more muted. As the name suggests it is a mix of beige and pink. A very neutral shade, which looks almost like a natural lip colour for me and does not wash me out surprisingly. It will go with almost all the lipsticks (the reason why I got this), so if you are someone who likes to fill out the lips (apart from outlining them) before putting on a lipstick, this will serve as a good base. And if you have pigmented lips, you can totally use this under the lip colour to make them show up well. I have worn this on its own with some gloss too, and it gives me really soft muted lips which I sometimes love.
This is how it looks on me:
Price: INR 375 for 1.14g
If you are on the lookout for a natural lip liner that will go with most of your lip colours, or if you have pigmented lips and want a clean board for the colour to show up well, you must definitely check out Beige Pink.
Have you checked out these liners? Which are your favourite shades? And which is your favourite natural/nude lip liner?
