Yellow Eyeshadow Look for Summer!

I have always been a neutral eyeshadow girl, but I don't know what has happened to me lately. I have been loving colors on the eyes! A LOT!
I did a green eyeshadow look recently - SEE HERE & since then I have played so much with different colors. Maybe summer is totally inspiring me!
Anyway, here's another look featuring Yellow Eyeshadow! Yes, you heard me right.
If someone would have told me last year that one day I would be digging yellow eyes, I would have laughed so much.
But oh my word! It looks super nice (at least according to me) & so so apt for summer! Also, it doesn't hurt that yellow eyeshadow is super trending right now! So, what are you waiting for?!
Yellow is such a cheerful color and will make you happy even on the dullest of the days. Don't you feel so?
Surprisingly, it is not that difficult color to wear, even if you are brown toned/olive skinned. Here's how to rock this sunny shade :

You can wear yellow eyeshadow on it's own if you are brave & love to make a statement
My favourite way to make it more wearable is to mix a bright yellow with a mustard toned brown in the outer corners and crease. This makes the color so much more wearable. You can even go out wearing it! Yes you can!
Smudge in some bronzy brown shadow/eye pencil on your upper & lower lashlines to add some depth & definition.
Do not forget to curl your lashes & add loads of jet black mascara!!
Since you are already wearing a pop of color on the eyes, keep the rest of your face/makeup fairly neurtal.
I have worn a peachy nude lipstick which is a bit yellow toned to complement the yellow color on the eyes.
Add a peachy blush & some highlighter for a nice glow!
Oh, and some bronzer for a sun kissed look. It won't be summer without a bronzed look will it?

I am totally smitten with the color & have been wearing it 3 days in a row :D
If you are still a bit apprehensive it would be a good idea to start with a yellow winged eyeliner. It looks absolutely fabulous too!
I know that the color is bold, but it can look amazing if done right. You just need to adapt it a little bit to suit you :)
