First Ever Empties Post : May 2016

Written by: Swati on:

So, Nivedita from Makeup and Chit Chat has consistently been doing so many empties and decluttering posts, that she has totally inspired me.
As a beauty blogger, I kept trying new stuff without finishing the old ones & things just kept on piling. These posts are such a great way to dig out products from the stash and use them up before getting/trying out new ones.
So here goes my first ever "Empties" post : May 2016!

Disclaimer : These empties posts might not be up consistently every month (I don't think I can go through products so fast), but I will try and update you all as often as I can :)

1. Lacto Calamine Skin Balance Lotion
This is such a wonderful thing! I remember mom buying me a bottle when I was in school, and somehow over the years fancier things got in the way and this gem was forgotten.
So, I was having a super bad breakout phase over the past few months and I made my skincare routine super simple. And somehow, I picked up this bottle up and it has been a saviour, It deserves a full post! Soon! Will always have one in my stash now.

2. TBS Tea Tree Oil
Again, this little bottle helped a lot with those pesky breakouts. Great as a spot treatment. Full review here. Already repurchased!

3. Maybelline Lip Balms
So I managed finishing 2 this month. Baby Lips in Rose Addict (reviewed here) is a pretty sheer rosy pink. The other one was an older tube of the Color Bloom Lip Balm in Peach (does anyone remember these? Before the baby lips came and took them over?) I really loved this variant a lot. Have made many people buy it too :)
These will always be in my kit, one variant or another. Love them.

4. Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover
Didn't like it at all. Stung my eyes everytime. Had to use it exclusively as a lipstick makeup remover only. Never repurchasing! (Reviewed here).

5. Lotus 3-in-1 Matte Sunscreen
This is HG product. I have lost count of the number of tubes I have finsihed. Been using it since 2013. I don't need to say anything more, do I?  (Reviewed here).

So, these are the products I managed to finish last month. Hopefully I will be able to put up an empty post every month. Let's see. Hope you liked it! Let me know in the comments below :)
