L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold : Review, Swatches

Written by: Swati on:

If you are an Indian girl, you will definitely have a kajal in your stash, even if you aren't much into makeup...but then who considers kajal as makeup?! Right? We wake up in the morning and put it on before heading out just like we would do with our creams and shoes. No thinking required there.

Then there are girls like me who mostly will have atleast 3 at any given point (one in the stash, one in the handbag, one somewhere else....oh wait...I think I found a 4th one!). But then I blame that on the blogging, I need to test new ones out so that you girls get to know about them :)

The last one I tested was the Lotus Colorkick one (reveiwed here), and while that fared well, it was time to test out a new one after it :) So here's the new L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold

We have reviewed the original Kajal Magique here long back. I did like that, though it was weaker in the pigmentation department, giving a more greyish hue instead of a jet black one.

Packed in a slim black retractable pencil with gold font, it looks quite good. Though it is tough to spot it in the stash.

Texture is smooth and creamy. It glides on well with no tugging. Pigmentation is great. One swipe gives you a dark black opaque color with a matte finish. It stays on for over 7-8 hours easily. I wear it on my waterline in the morning and it is still there by the time I get home with slight very slight fading. I haven't experienced any irritations yet.
It is almost as good as the Amway Kajal and the Lakme Absolute Kajal (both of which are my absolute favorites!)

Price : 350 INR for 0.35g

Definitely try this one out, if you are on the lookout for an intense black kajal/kohl. It is a retractable pencil (which is very convenient especially on a rushed day). The smudge proof finish makes sure it lasts the whole day on your lids.
