The Body Shop Green Tea Body Butter : Review
Written by: Swati on:
With the advent of monsoon, I'm really getting into the Fuji Green Tea range by The Body Shop. I like how the fresh green fragrance echoes the weather outside, and for the past week, I cannot get enough of it! I already shared my love for the Green Tea Eau de Colonge a few weeks back.
The body butter is clean white of a very nice consistency, rich but lighter than the Shea body butter (reviewed here). It moisturises my limbs adequately, and provides a good base for layering the Eau de Cologne on top. The fragrance of the butter and the very act of rubbing it into my skin gives such a luxurious feeling!
The Body Shop has combined some good humectants and emollients in this body butter which keeps my skin supple, and prevents it from drying out. Although, I wouldn't recommend this for summertime, it does make a great choice for monsoon and autumn.
If you'll read the ingredient list carefully, Green Tea extract is featured quite late. I don't believe the amount is good enough to have any real benefits for my skin, so on rare days when I have time to spare, I tweak my trusted Green Tea mask recipe to create a scrub out of the same! It's a fantastic way to finish the tea ritual, don't you think so too?
I recommend you indulge some Green Tea love, and considering how unisex the fragrance is, drag your guy along as well! There won't be any regrets, I promise :)
